<div class="IPBDescription">and winamp</div> I uninstalled winamp 2 and installed winamp 3, now when i open videos it says find winamp2. I want to play videos with windows media viewer, but it always opens with winamp unless i right click and click media player. How do i make it WMV by default?

    well In windows you just access folder options and file type associations should be a suboption

    Well you started using Winamp 3, that's your problem!

    Right click on the file, with the file type you want to be used my WMV all the time. And then click "Open With", and scroll down and click "Choose Program". Then click "Windows Media Viewer from the list, and click the the box that says "Always use this Program to open these files", then click "Ok". ^_^

    oh and though Liku's help is sorta correct there is one problem

    media viewers steal the rights to open your media when you open em, yes it is a pain

    what you need to do is learn how to associate file formats with the programs you want quickly (for instance TVP you need to press 3 buttons and all video formats (exept .mov and .rm) are reassociated after either WMP, RM, or QT have stolen em
