I know and have known for ages but if there are any n00bie photoshop usrs outthere who want to know how to make scanlines read on.
1. Create a new image. Make the dimensions 2pixels x 2pixels
2. Zoom into 1600%
3. Make the background color white and using pencil tool make 2 black dots on the bottom.
ie. The entire bottom should be black with the top 2 pixels white.
4. edit> define Pattern name it scanlines
5. Open image you want to scanline
6. Layer> New> New Layer Highlight the new layer
7 Edit> Fill, where it says Foreground Color in the drop down box change it to Pattern
8. Change the opacity to 25% and click ok
Thats how you do it it is as easy as that. Just make sure to create a new blank layer before u fill.
