the feel seems very uniform though out
some one is gonna say more contrast but i think its great!

i think the problem is that all the lava is around, and its giving off that red light. yes?

Yeah I wasn't supposed to include that one...I just picked out the best ones from my collection and "Somehow" that thing got into it. Oh well shows that Fam has done a good job with the main light and the overlay <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

They are overlays from the official wads, and I also had to create my own for r25_monitor2.
The open areas are to help make a marine friendly environment, I've also made it skulk friendly with the darkness. We'll just have to wait for playtesting to see if it works out.

Shloom: I aprreciate that comment, but all being said and done...even if it was official map material the v1.1 deadline has passed.

And the lava or what ever it is should emit a lot more light.
I also suggest adding wires to places near those consoles and pipes running around the ceiling.
The lava was originally alot brighter, but because of the light coming from below to make it look more realistic it ended up making the map look like arrggghh....disgusting and almost white in most places with light.
