We had a few of our own like him in our country as well, (Mr. Dressup & the Friendly Giant) - who've also passed on.
Then that lamb chops lady died from cancer as well... not many role models around.
At least there's still Blue's Clues.
(why am I talking about kids shows that I no longer watch/never watched? ) <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
Still, sad to hear him go, just as sad as it was to hear Dave Thomas go; old people on TV are cool.
Sigh.... it's a shame, is show was pleasant for children..... <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
Good thing there are many years' worth of Mr. Rogers for children still.
I always figured he would die from a heart attack during an extremely strenuous shoe tieing rehearsal sesion.
But seriously, I loved that show. Gees, I'm only 16 and already my childhood heros are dieing off.
It's now a sad and depressing day in the neighborhood.
