Wh40k
<div class="IPBDescription">The card Game[just an idea]</div> Ever wanted to play Warhammer 40k, but didn't want to paint all those models or have to carry them around in a big case?
WELL TADA!
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the Warhammer 40k Card Trading Game!
I thought about this idea while I was watching my friends play Magic cards and looked all all those cards that had pictures of mountains and i was thinking about warhammer and then IT HIT ME.
Why not take the W40k universe, and change it into a card game.
So anyways, i've had a few ideas and have watched a fair share of w40k games. At my local games workshop store.
so gameplay would be like your normal w40k game, with all the movement and attack and that thing to measure how far a attack hits or how far a unit moves
so anyways you have your units, they can be cards, pictures of units, orcs space marines whatever!. But if you want for fun you could change the art on the cards so that each unit card is a little different.
USe colours to like easily tell between whos who. and about those vehicles. well thats easy, just have a vehicle card and if you want to pack some units in a certain vehicle then put their card under the vehicle card and like move the vehicle card as if it was one thing.
oh yeah and you would have pieces of land, like bunkers, hills, towers, and forgotten buildings of war.
COOL IDEA EH ?
cuz i always wanted to play wh40k but its such a pain colouring and painting

Although I'm moving away from 40K and more into Inquisitor. Nothing quite like psychic impelling someone off a platform, jumping down after said person and finding a space marine climbing up a ladder. Then Picking up the stunned body, using it as a human shield and psychic impelling the space marine causing him to lose his grip on the boltgun. (Yest that did happen.) I them stabbed my daemon halberd into his back killing the human shield and setting him on fire! (It ended with my characters leg being sliced off by said Space marine. They really are to powerful....)
Vampire
Shadowrun
D & D - both original, and the funnier Munchkin(not sure if that its the name of it)
and then there's the monthy pyton game, never played it ut it sounds cool, from what a friend of mine told me.
(I play both)
table top strategy would loose alot of the fun with out TERAIN. LOS rules are actualy realy fun and add alot more to the game.
As for the RPG CCGs, nuh uh they blow. And Munchkin is not a CCG it is simply a starndard CG (no colecting).
And anyway, clicks will dominate all (b/c of its stupidly simple factor, which is why battle tech ppl aint playing it). And nothing will ever out do MTG (legions is just funny).
Fun side notes:
The re is a SciFi/Fantasy/Gaming convention happening at my college (next week) OberCon (Oberlin). The main event is actualy a huge RogueTrader event the first day (the second day is gaming mostly handeled by our RPG club ;D)
The Gaming shop that is sponsering the rogue trader event is where I spent my winter term (yes I bummed aound a gaming store for credit ;D)
