<div class="IPBDescription">Anti - rant thread</div> This is a huge undertaking. What you have pulled off already is astounding. Not just Flayra, but the whole mod team.

I know that forums are always full of people complaining about this and that. Hell, I'm one of them. But what you have put together so far is fantastic. Please do not misread these posts. If people didn't like the game so much, they wouldn't be here.

Special "props" go to Superfly - I do sound design on the side myself and was very impressed at the level of quality in your work. Of course, I couldn't be completely happy, thought the weapons sounded a bit under-powered and <a href='http://www.fileplanet.com/section.aspx?s=92820' target='_blank'>created my own</a>, but overall a herculean effort that I think is just as good or better than anything I could come up with. I tried ur soundpack, but since I have my sound always very low it didnt sound too good <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> so I prefer the normal, maybe others will like it tho.

I find actually that the whole NS sound set sounds MUCH better if you have a set of speakers with bass turned up. Then they actually sound pretty meaty. Over headphones, I have to confess they sound a bit tinny. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

Thanks Wile E. Superfly doesn't read these forums unfortunatley, but I agree he did a fantastic job. He created them all in just a couple weeks too. Every so often he would ask a question or pause to dump a few more megs of sounds off, but like the other NS dev team members, he is the silent and hard-working type. It astounds me.

You just gotta get better headphones grendel. I've got AIWA hp-x222, cost about $40 and i've had them for 4? years. They are amazing headphones, tons of bass. I credit atleast 30% of my skillz to them.

And because we simply cant say it enough, to the entire dev team: thank you.

my headphons were free..and they broke..after the 2nd day of playing cs..

they were crap..

okay u guys might laugh at this but i bought a headset from radio shack (my buddy also had the same pair) and even tho they look like cheap crap, the sound quality is unbeliveable. the bass is the hardest hitting deepest low freqency bass i have ever heard in my life. i've never heard anything else that even comes close to what these things can do, not even home stereos or really good car setups. not bad for 40 bucks huh? not to mention i can hear exactly where everything is at all times. i cant count how many times i've been called a hacker in CS because of these kickass headphones.
