Almost EVERY line from that game was worth quoting, though. I just don't want to go through them all, and that's the first that comes to mind.

Oh yeah. The I'm Here to kickass and chew bubblegum, and I'm all out of gum from Duke is taken from They Live.

"Greatest gaming moment ever was after going back and fighting the good fight (200 attempts) finding out that:

    Doctor: "Paul is alive, amazing""

Wait a second.. You can save Paul? I killed all the agent type people on my first try, but the game still seemed to indicate Paul died... Did he not?

I can't remember the whole thing, but a lot of the units in Warcraft II are great. Blizzard is awesome.

"Join the army they said. See the world they said. I'd rather be sailing"

"I do have work to do... When my work is finished, I'm coming back for you"

    "Are you STILL touching me?"

    "Awwww, it's beeee-youuu-tee-ful"

I have Warcraft III, but I haven't played it at all. My computer (P4 1.5 ghz, GF4 TI4600, 768 RAM) has trouble with Half-Life. Sigh, it really sucks. I love Warcraft II though.

Like all of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (the game) is awesome. I particularly like the thing where you feed the dog a nauseating sandwhich, and the description of the sandwhich.

    A few samples..

"He looks startled, then guilty. He starts to say something then stops. He starts to say something else and stops. Suddenly he seems to see the bulldozer for the first time, stops starting to say things and starts"

"The barman gives you a cheese sandwhich. The bread is like the stuff that stereos come packed in, the cheese would be great for rubbing out spelling mistakes, and margarine and pickles have performed an unedifying chemical reaction to produce something that shouldn't be, but is, turqouise."

"The dog is deeply moved. With powerful sweeps of its tail it indicates that it regards this cheese sandwich as one of the great cheese sandwiches. Nine out of ten pet owners could happen by at this point expressing any preference they pleased, but this dog would spurn both them and their tins. This is a dog which has has met its main sandwich. It eats with passion, and ignores a passing microscopic space fleet"

The space fleet includes your character, going back in time and being shrunken, later in the game. If you don't feed the dog, it eats you. Strange game.

    Guantlet:
    "Someone shot the food."

    Full Throttle:
    "Some joker took my keys."

"You know what'd look good on your face?"
    "What?"
    "The bar!"

    Dark Forces:
    Vader saying: "Dark Troopers"

    Red Alert 2:
Russian campaign intro movie to one of the levels when the Premier is talking to you:
"This is my turtle, Uncle Sam. Hello Uncle Sam"

    "Submarines!"

And this one is not really a quote from the game itself but it's used just as frequently:
"Someone get in the command chair!"

Yes you could save Paul and it was the greatest gaming moment ever. Even sicker was you could escape from Gunther in the subway incident and actually find Jack's copter. And now, an adventure quoting bonanza. Let us begin with the Monkey Island Franchise...

The doomed voyage of the Obsessivo-Compulsivo will haunt me forever.
    -- Edward VanHelgen

It just occurred to me that mixing medicine and alcohol is a really stupid and possibly lethal thing to do. If I were a real person instead of a lovable, inept cartoon character with the potential for a few more sequels...I wouldn't even consider it.
    -- Guybrush Threepwood

In the scene where Guybrush and Wally are hanging over the pit of acid:
    LeChuck: Any more questions?
Guybrush: Where do babies come from?

    Wally: I'm a cartographer.
Guybrush: You do open heart surgery? In here?

Guybrush: I'm on a whole new adventure.
    Pirate: Growing a mustache?
    Guybrush: No, Bigger than That
    Pirate: A beard?!?

After Guybrush steals the idol from Governor Marley's mansion:
Fester: Well, let's hear your explanation.
Guybrush: It belongs in a museum!

    Guybrush, after being caught:
If I only could reach my pirate-utility belt.

"Guybrush Threepwood?! Ha ha ha!! That's the most ridiculous name I've ever heard!"
    -- Mancomb Seepgood

LeChuck: Aren't you glad to be dead??
First Mate: I feel so glad that you happened to capture my ship, then murdered me and everyone on board. Yes sir...lucky.

Upon first sight of Monkey Island:
Guybrush : WOW! This was well worth $59.95 + tax

Herman: If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, what color is the tree?
Guybrush (after around 80 other answers): All colors?
Herman: Exactly. Now, what has this experience taught you?
Guybrush: That philosophy isn't worth my time.
Herman: I'm very impressed. It takes most people years to reach this point.

Largo: HA! Scream all you want, there are no police on Scabb Island.
Guybrush: Then who eats all the doughnuts and roughs up the transients?

    -Ryan!

"Pathetic creature of meat and bone," et al. are from System Shock 2. Damn fine game. Creepy as hell. Especially the robo-nannies and their humming...right before they ran up to you saying "I'll rip out your eyes!"
But yeh, all of Shodan's opening speech in SS2 is pretty cool.

Going back to Torment, this isn't really a quote per se, but I'm fond of the story morte tells in the Brothel of Slating Intellectual Lusts... It's a bit too long to post here, but those of you who have played the game prolly know what I'm talking about.

It's pretty late, so I can't think of any particularly good quotes... but the Bezerker's line:
"An' ye know how hard it is to strangle the undead!"
Which is from the end of Myth... That always makes me grin.
