Dont they?
I myself prefer NS equal to BF1942, then FA then CS then TFC as it stands now. And you. I hope this does not seem to be mindless dribble. Just seems as though this game supports a great variety of minds and views. Variety is after all the spice of life is it not? We seem to dwell in one realm sometimes and ignore the fact we are creatures of choas and difference with perceptions that can often be misinterpreted and viewed in a manner not condusive to true civilized and social behavior. (/me swigs another)

anyway, NS first (duh)
then TFC (i have rediscovered how much fun it is)
used to play CS and Dod when i was waiting for NS
Rainbow 6 = my most favorte game EVER (i pwned at MP)
Empire earth wasnt that good, i followed it for about 6 months before it was released, i play it every now and then when the internet dies on meh NS
they killed Firearms for me with 2.6
MoH:AA sucks, to much death match
Age of empires seires PWNED HARD!!!! (never played rise of rome for Aoe1 though)
used to play WW2 Online before it when to pay for play (wish i wasnt so poor) i try the re-evaluation programs and it looks wonderful (www.wwiionline.com if intrested)
operation flashpoints mission editor is fun, but MP is just to slow
never played BF1942 but everyone says that even though the system req are stiff, its really fun (is there like a realism mod out there for it, that rocket jumpping turns me off)?
Quake 3
Soldier of Fortune 1
tates vary yes, but if you like FPS and RTS (Total Annihilation is my favorite game ever) then you will like NS. Even if you like one and not the other you will be happy with it.
ns is the only game worth playing, oh and jk2. but ns. w00t
(get popcorn and a coke)
this should be good
BF1942+expansion+2 mods
Halflife with DoD and NS
and thats about it.
oh and BF1942 pwns j00
You want to get good melee skill? Try Kung Fuing a diving guy, while he Mp5 spams you, and dodging their snipers all at the same time.
I play a few rounds before NS, and I can see the difference.
Half-Life for NS, and Quake 2 for Gloom. If you've not tried Gloom, you must play it if you enjoy NS. They're very similar but Gloom is faster paced. A ton of fun.

(example... flamewars)
When reading posts many are quick to point out faults and react emotionally instead of taking the time to think their answers out in a calm rational manner. A well thought out answer or initial post creates a better
overall community. I myself am guilty of mindless replies. Say what you must but never let emotion be the motivation behind it, or else you are animal and not human. Hehe I am insane.
On another note Master of Orion 3 hits shelves today at EB should I return this unimpressive C & C Generals and get it?
C&C:Generals is the first one in that series after the first I've actually liked.
Bizarre.

I rather enjoyed playing the first C&C, but looking back on it now, it was only the novelty of it. Having not played a game like that before, when put into perspective, it wasn't really much of a strategy game.
WC3 gave me a sharp boot towards reality as far as RTS's are concerned.
Not played C&C generals, should probably give it a try.
as of right now, i've been playing NS a lot more than DoD. but im still new to it. once the novelty wares off, i don't know which i'll be playing more.
Maybe UT will inherit the love of modders and give us new generations of genius like Natural Selection, Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat, and Team Fortress Classic. I just can't justify spending $50 bucks on BF or even UT until they come close to catching up to the Master.
but anyway, all kidding aside, you are right. there are alot of different strats and ways to play the game. makes it fun. i like playing with all sorts of people from different parts of the country, of different ages, of different points of view.
Great single player, fun LAN multi.
SUCKY ONLINE.
'Offensive Towering'? Please.
1. Infantry
2. Barren Realms Elite over BBS
3. Firearms RC 2.5
4. Day of Defeat
5. Natural Selection (It's edging it's way up the list)
BTW, I personally didn't like BF1942, I started up the demo and the first thing that slapped me in the face was "Where's the Garand??". It just seems too non-realistic and arcadeish for my tastes.
I play BF1942 only at LAN (mostly cause I don't have a "valid cd-key" )
I HATE CS!! HATE HATE HATE!!!! CS SUXORZ!!!!!!11111211oneoneoneoneoneoneonetwothreefour1
1) NS - awesome game
2) BF1942 - da planes
3) CS - an oldy, but goody
4) NOLF2 - awesome single player action
5) UT23k - decent DM
Prosp
1. Islands of Myth (a mud)
1,2 NS
2. Splinter cell
and i love game like the old Elite, the real old Stronghold (the AD&D stronghold) and game like that.
problem is that there is allways something missing in the games, that may be a lack of multiplaying, the ability to buy shops/mines (thinking of space sims here), mayby it need to support mods because of a great engine and so on, you get the drift.
hmm now i cant finde anytthing else to say so i stop now
NS
bf1942
wc3 is around for gaming with friends, as is diablo 2

WC3? dont tell me you play a blizzard rts.... blizzard rts are all the same. mass one unit as fast as you can and attack. wow. how fun. why dont you play a real RTs like Total Annihilation. its cheap to buy and a lot more fun than a blizzard game...
I'm glad some people do realise that when it comes to which games are good and which games are bad, it is all 100% opinion, and that its OKAY for people to have different opinions. Otherwise we'd all be eating the same flavor of ice cream right?
