Ie 6 Sp 1 Problem

<div class="IPBDescription">It auto VIEWS zips/exes etc</div> Ok, not sure what happened, day 2 in getting ie6 sp 1 When I click a file, it automatically VIEWS the file, its very VERY annoying..

Anyone have a fix?

and RIGHT CLICK SAVE AS does not work on all websites

some have those, downloading in 5 seconds or whatever things

    What sorts of files is it viewing? ZIP files? EXE Files? Any kind of file? If it's say, Zip, verify that the MIME (file association) settings have not been altered.

    1. Run Windows Explorer (Start | Run | explorer)
    2. Click Tools | Folder Options
    3. Click tab File Types
    4. Scroll down to ZIP, an ensure that it's set to open with Windows Explorer only and not IE by clicking Change, then Set Default.

    Need more info here. Also, what OS, what version of IE, etc.
