I wanted to know if anybody knows if there is anything similar to trillian out there? Mine has stopped working(it was a h4xored version anyways) and I've tried everything but reinstalling windows. It loaded up fin but then after about a second or two windows would give me an error report. I think the company has blocked it not sure tho. Can they do that?

Anyone know of any alternatives then?

haked version of trillian? Trill is free, aint it? (I don't use IMs any more)

but yah there are a few others out there, try searching for AIM or y! or some other things like that

Aim or Y! is not what he needs. Trillian combines *all* those chat progmrams in one (AIM, Y!, MSN, etc). Unfortunately, I don't know of any that do that also...

The full version of Trillian(Trillian Pro) allows you to do voice and video conversations with YIM, and MSN.

That's the biggest difference from that and the shareware version.

Theres a bug, it started with connecting to AIM, on startup, so disable AIM auto startup till u can get the patch

well I'm NOT using a haxed version of trillian, but I am using an old version cause it is more stable and I HATE HATE HATE the new non-stolen icon scheme. It now GPFs on startup for me :(

Search for the thread in these off-topic forums (should be only a few weeks back) about alternative browsers to IE. In it I mention some of the alternative software I use, such as the Opera browser and Trillian instant messaging client.

Someone replied to me saying something about a program similar to Trillian. I never bothered to try it, but that should help start your quest.

Yeah before I used Trillian there was ANOTHER icq client that I tried, but it couldn't do file transfers so bleh.
