Gamespy Best Of 2002 Awards

<div class="IPBDescription">DoD and NS...</div> well i just took a look at the DoD website and saw that they had received the "Best of 2002 User-Created Modification"

and then i remembered hearing about some award on NS's website, so i took at look at it. NS got the "Best of 2002 Best Mod for a PC Game".

now what im wondering is, whats the big difference between these 2 awards? they sound pretty much the same to me. i mean, how many mods are not user-created nowadays?

The award is from fileplanet, which is <i>run</i> by gamespy. Also, the award is based on a poll.

yea its based on a poll, which means the people have the decision on who wins, but GameSpy made up the title names.
