I lerk sometimes, and I want a dive button. It's wicked hard to fly around hallways where there are overhangs and stuff, and it would really help to drop in on marines rather then wait to gradually float down.

If it didnt look like a mutant lizard/bat i would suggest a hummingbird's style of flying (instant up down left right foward backward using the arrows and crouch jump), course then wed have to figure out the conditions for when you land, that and the marines would **** that the lerks were now IMPOSSIBLE to hit.

Im pretty sure flay and the gang will make shooting flying at the same time more viable for the lerk, it makes the most sense, i just hope they also make the lil bugger more manuverable. Ive logged in a couple hundred flight hours now on the sucker and i still bash my head into overhangs every game and that gets you killed. Every now and then i can go air jousting agains the jetpackers (suicide without def and adren though) but mostly i think thats due to the inexperience of most Jp'ers and not my 1337 flying skills. Lerks still hold a high spot on any team as a outpost killer and sniper, hell they are the best sniper as they can put themselves into the best vantage points before plugging marines, if not for the tracer rounds leading back to the lerk the marines would REALLY be in trouble.

One thing im sure some will dissagree on that i would like to see changed is the lerk not taking falling/bashing dammage, yea yea i know even i laugh my **** off when i tear down a hallway trying to break the sound barrier and accidently die when i get carried away and slam into a wall *splat*, but running out of energy and taking dammage from falling is just not something that should happen to a "natural flyer", skulks are immune to fall dammage, lerks should follow suit.
