Here's your chance
If anyone plays at very low resolutions, they've probably noticed that the weapon and ability icons aren't right. This slipped through the cracks at the end of v1.0. If anyone here can take the larger weapon sprites, rescale them, touch them up and make them work at the low resolutions, that'd be fantastic. I will include these sprites as an official part of v1.1, or whatever version of NS we're about to release when they're completed.
The other thing that's needed (but less glorious) is to adjust all the textschemes so the fonts look right at low resolutions. This whole system is relatively undocumented and will take a lot of trial and error, but it will make a big difference to all the people that play NS at low resolutions. Merely tweak 640_textscheme.txt, 512_textscheme.txt, 400_textscheme.txt and 320_textscheme.txt until it looks right. Other game fonts or files may need to be edited or added too, I'm not totally sure.
If anyone wants to do this and post their results here, I'd be much appreciative.

as it is theyre as low poly as it gets :/
and yes, this would get more hits/views if it was in the modeling forums, not only sprite artists but also people interested in getting into sprite art.....
And what do you mean by low-res? If you can't play 1024*768 its time to get a new computer cuz you're missing on great games
