<div class="IPBDescription">Kinda a techy question</div> I've always been curious as to why Flayra put in his own Gamma boost for Natural Selection? why couldn't he just keep it the same? It seems fine in other half life mods. Does it allow for more shadows or better lightly or something? Or is it just a mapper convinence?

Unfortunately since some gamma controls and settings exist within half-life, the calibration tool isn't too useful--it runs on the desktop, not in Half Life.
Now, if there was a nsgamma.bsp map we could use for calibration...
Believe me, due to a wierd bug with duel monitors, I was forced to play NS without the Gamma amp ...
it wasn't near as good as it is with it on.
DVI CRTs? eh?
It's really just eye candy, but it's very sweet candy.
