<div class="IPBDescription">or just call it 'o.m.t.r.r.' :P</div> I saw there were a few new motion tracking blips available, thought I had to make some of my own. Well, here it is. It's just the original one (but then red) so it aint that impressive.

I haven't tested it in the game yet myself so i'm gonna need some feedback, if it doesn't work i'll just fix it for ya, don't worry <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

here's the download: <a href='http://members.home.nl/johnnyvdoremalen/redblip4.zip' target='_blank'>redblip4.zip</a>

and does anyone know who made the original ones? i should mention him/her in the readme to i guess <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

if there's something wrong with ANYTHING, don't be afraid to mention it here, i would even appreciate it <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

thanx

EDIT: before flaming me for a screenie, here's one:

    I tryed to do this but I couldn't get it to be see-through, so I ended up with green squares with my pattern on them floating around me screen.

    Someone post a piccy

    yeah, it's because there are different ways to put the .bmp's into a .spr

    Additive - 256 colors with additive transparency.
    Alphatest - 255 colors; last color is transparency.
    Indexalpha - Grayscale; last color is the sprite color.
    Normal - 256 colors; no blending or transparency.

    I used the alphatest one on the motion track sprites, because the background was black, and that's the last color.

    It's not that i know much about this stuff it's just something from a readme or something. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Unless you have a sprite that has its own colors (i.e you want it to have diff. parts colored diff. colors) you should create the crosshair/MT blip/hive sight squiggle in Grayscale, then convert it to 256 colors. Then, compile it into a sprite using the Indexalpha method. Make sure you edit the palette so that the color you want the sprite to be is the last one in the palette.

    How exactly would you make a sprite that has different colors? I edited the Spore Gas sprite a little but when I try to compile all 17 images back into a sprite it tells me "spore003.bmp does not share a palette with the previous bitmap"
