New ns video?

I remember like 5 or so months ago I saw the 3 minute NS trailer on someone else's comp. Well, im downloading it now because I have ADSL(woohoo&#33<!--emo&;)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo-->.

It's probably the same one, but oh well.

I think it would be cool to record a 5 to 10 minute video of the commander's perspective. This would give us a REAL good idea of what the game feels like. In addition, we get to see how l33t the playtest commander is. <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo-->

Instead of divX, wouden't it be possible to record NS videos using Half-life's demo system?

Chances are you'll change alot of things when the game is released, so I think one video would be sufficient.

There's been talk of a movie, and the general consensus is that a new video would be a good thing.  However, it is extremely hard to do, and I wouldn't hold your breath if I were you.

And it wouldn't be possible for you to view a demo anyways, as you'd need the game.

Flayra had some help from a guy with proper equipment to make the last video, and it takes a long time/effort, which takes away from them working on the mod. And the mod is getting quite close to a first release, there isnt much point.

Which interface?  the "flick-of-your-wrist" interface or the commander interface?  They're both gorgeous, but still.
