<div class="IPBDescription">From my yet unnamed map..</div>Hey all, just posting a some screenshots of something I finished up last night. If I ever get enough motivation to carry on with this map, this will most likely be the main area.
It isn't finished yet, and I need to optimize it to lower the r_speeds. The lighting isn't final, and it still needs to be touched up a bit, but what's there now is generally the feel that I'm going for.

It'd be a great help to me if you could comment on this, I haven't ever posted any of my work before and critism would definitely help me improve my skills.

    This is one of the two elevators that will get people from the ground level up to the platforms where the resource node is located.

    This picture is a bit distorted because of the perspective the shot was taken from.

    Oh man that is really cool bozman, i love the lighting a ton, or well the spotlights at least.  I think you should tone up the lights on the lower level, but i love the creepy blushing effect its giving off.  It's going to be marine hell there, will all the leverage for the aliens, sounds exciting!

    Pull the light beams up a bit. Having them stretched to the floor seems a bit... off.

    Square light source + circular spotlight = zuh?

    Personally, I think it's too dark for the "main conflict area" - aliens are at a serious advantage in this room.

    Looks great, you need to make the light cones a lower render value, right now they look too bright

    Not of extreme importance, but you might want to make your catwalks with an alpha texture, so the commander can see through them.

    That looks pretty good, your architecture is a little blocky though.  Try throwing in some curves.

    Erp.. Thanks for all the advice people, I'll try to follow all of it! The pictures are down now, I'll see if I can get them back up.
