Overflow Issue.

<div class="IPBDescription">magical.</div> Here's the deal. Any HL game I try to join (or even create) I connect to easily. Everything goes smoothly, about 5-10 seconds in game I overflow and it gives me something I've never seen before in an overflow.

Tracker Error: TrackerUI.dll invalid, not loading

this first happened last night out of the blue, when I had previously been playing some..30 minutes earlier just fine. Is that trackerui.dll borked? l;kfldskfds. Help.

    no, everyone has the trackerui.dll problem. You should try to decrease your rate cvar.

    The error is called by a bug that came with the 1.1.1.0 bug, that happens to <b>everyone</b>
    You have to goto C:\Sierra\Half-Life\Valve\cl_dlls\gameui.dll and rename it to gameui.bak

    type "rate" in the console to see the actual value, then type "rate 4500" for example to change this to 4500

    It doesn't change a single thing. The original rate was 8000, so I tried 4000, then 2000, then 1...yeah. Any other possiblities?

    Few suggestions:

    One, I would try to delete any configs you have (Back them up of course, But start a fresh bunch of settings/configs the game WILL remake the configs.)
    Two, Delete the custom.hpk file (Not really related, but you dont need old spray logos)
    Three, If all else fails try to reinstall Half-Life, Make sure you back everything up.


    I never had the problem, So im not to sure how to fix it.

    But try my suggestions if you want.
