Not Another Teen Movie

<div class="IPBDescription">i'm bored</div> So, NS is boring right now (my internet is goin slow) so i'm thinkin of seein Not Another Teen Movie.

One of my friends told me the beginning of the movie is a girl...uhhh...enjoying herself with the movie <i>She's All That</i> (argh, *raises arm at Fmod who changed what was there before...then remembers they can ban, lowers arm* this true?

Any comments on the movie is appreciated, just wanna know if money is being well-spent.

    You should also know in advance that "Not another teen movie" has the same humor types (and same humor level) as "Scary Movie" -- to the point that I'm willing to bet money the same people wrote it.

    To me, both were an absolute bore. They had their funny parts, true -- but there were so few that if you saw the movie trailer, you saw everything in the movie that counted as funny. Not worth paying money to rent or see in theatres. If you want to see mere seconds worth of images of naked women, horrible screenwriting, and bottom-of-the-barrel-level-of-intelligence humor, then sure, go see the movie. It still won't be worth it.

    The only good thig about Office Space was the guy who wanted his stapler back. I would gladly watch a two hour movie about him than see Hackers again, eeeew its disgusting.

    meh,I don't take anything All says seriously (he dosn't like the beatles nuff said)

    as for hackers, what are your griefs against it? (if you even think of bringing up the 'fake' aspect I will laugh at you)

    same goes for Office Space, yes there are a few slow moments in it but they are not nearly as bad as ANY other movie thats been out recently.

    heh, I'm almost ashamed to admit that I liked hackers. If you're bored, Office Space is a must-see, if you've already seen it, and enjoy sophomoric humor, NATM is pretty entertaining.

    Try watching the New Guy on DVD, that's GREAT. Chapter 17. Rinse, repeat. Well, minus the rinsing part, that sounds kinda, too weird.. uh, ahem. Yeah, I'm 19, had a girlfriend who was hot, let her go when I went to a college that's 75% male; 3 words sum it up: I'm an idiot.

    If you try to lok too deeply into it then NATM isnt for you, if you take it at face value and as what it is - a compilation of spoofs of every other teen move in existance - then it can be quite funny, but it is definately a one time watcher, much like scary moive.

    Thansal, I've seen most every movie on your list, some of them twice, a few thrice and one 5 times.

    I have Princess Mononoke DVD, saw Shadow of a Vampire (creepy William Dafoe), I just saw Jin-roh last weekend, I've seen Princess Bride way too many times, seen Hackers (Angelina Jolie + computers = winnar)

    and I watched NATM. Pretty funny if you take it at face value.

    Plus the opening scene was good, and I'd watch it again just for Mia Kirshner and Chyler Leigh. My girlfriend lives 6 hours away so I get desperate. Pathetic eh?
