Bugs With My Geforce 4

<div class="IPBDescription">need some help</div> ok, I got a geforce 4 recently and instaled it when I did a full reformat reinstall, I am running:

win2K
256megs ram
AMD 1.1gig
e-GeForce f Ti 4200 64megs DDR from evga.com

I have the latest drivers for it (http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?IO=winxp-2k_41.09)

now my problems

1) I have a wall hack:
many sections of maps will periodicly become translucent (just as if I was using a wall hack) either that or they will glitch up (ever watch an avi when it glitches, it looks the same)
This hapenes on very specific areas, eclips has one so I will detail where it is: (use <a href='http://www.tribes2maps.com/ns/' target='_blank'>http://www.tribes2maps.com/ns/</a> for help)
this is all ussing marine start as NORTH
Station Access Alpha (rezpt if you take the West exit from marine start, and then take the east side, the one that dosn't lead to triad)

If I go down that ramp I can look through the ramp periodicly

also some times the floor will sorta disapear if I am a skulk on it, it is not fun

2) NoClip effects

Yah know if you have noclip on and you go out side of the level, you get all the trails from actual objects?
yah, well skymaps do that to me (not so bad in NS b/c of the few skys ;D)

3) If I set the rezolution realy high (the way I like it), well I get that rez however I only see a corner of the screen

yah, this dosn't mess up NS to much however ANY other mod is basicaly doomed
I played VS chap 5 and one of the houses almost always was translucent, and trying to track jumping vamps sorta blows




yah, if any one can give me help PLEASE!!!!

    "Trails"... I think I know what you're talking about.

    I had this problem before, (Half-life only). Just set your video settings from Direct3D to OpenGL; that should fix those tralls.

    thanks man, I can't believe I was that silly to not switch modes it fixed all of it

    well I also think that the rez probs are b/c my monitor dosn't handel em ;D

    if you're planning on using D3D revert back to older Nvidia drivers. The latest dirvers have some issues with older games.

    why would you even use D3D. HL was made for OpenGL.

    OpenGL will fix most if not all of your problems.

    Yes, from what you have said it is broken, therefore you cannot use it.
