Fun Fast Amusing Pub Strategy

<div class="IPBDescription">From {H20} Server featuring POD & Jewz</div> Anyways I hopped into {H20} earlier this morning and managed to find POD , Jewzilla , and MikeNoLike playing on marines. I initially for the first 2 games found myself on a aliens team that kept dying within the first 2-5 minutes of each game as marines would rush camp outside of spawn and then start sending 2-3 marines to kill our hive while 5-7 others covered them.
Anyways after I found our gorge building a sensory chamber in hive as we were dying I managed to jump onto marines since I had been having so much fun earlier as a marine. The next match featured POD and others screaming at everyone to all head toward one hive as we headed toward it (ns_eclipse) we'd basically know within 15 seconds of running toward Waste that their hive was there or was elsewhere and turn and run the other way into their rush. Basically we would figure out where their hive was within the first 45 seconds of the game. From there (every 5 seconds " WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING AT THE ARMORY YOU DO NOT NEED BULLETS YOU NEED ONLY TO DIE GETTING TO THEIR HIVE AND FIGHT THEM NOW " ) the first game it got to the point 2 minutes into the game POD said he was tired of seeing so many marines spending most their time ammoing up so he said he was going to Recycle the armory. Which he did 5 seconds later in a cloud of laughter while yelling at us to get to their hive. As we ran to the hive he promised we would get a armory there. So 2 1/2-3minutes into the game he drops a armory at the entrance of their hive and tells us to keep fighting that we dont need ammo that it's better to die and respawn and keep fighting then to get 250 bullets just to die after using 10-30 bullets. LOL Man I had so much fun with this Marine commander. I've seen never ending early skulk dominations but marines this was my first time. But since I've only played for a week..
(CS player competitively but for fun always got to get some time with NS)
But yah it was awesome.. then we'd have most the guys cover while 1 guy blasted away at the hive. While he dropped medpacks on us and ammo sometimes. Then him and jew went on a knifing frenzy running into packs of skulks with knifes slashing away lol.
The 2nd time around we did basically the same thing but straight to jetpacks super fast. basically he saved up told us to keep attacking their hive (2-3 minuet marker) as soon as we got jps we had flying LMG JPS thrumming away early at their hive. Man FUN FUN FUN! All I got to say is zergling rush can be done by the marines effectively and FAST.
Got to love the fast and furious Marine assaults.

I think it trunkated "jewzilla" to just "jewz."
There's a lot of anti-semetism on the net, so people generally are pretty touchy about such things.
The most common tactic these days on the german servers I'm playing on is to build 2 inf-portals and an armory, let one or two Marines guard the base (building observatory and phasegate when the resources are high enough), send the other Marines to a hive, build a phasegate, tf and turrets there.
I think this is not really a rush, but at least a "race" to prevent Aliens from expanding too quick.
After securing a hive it's most a fight about resource noozles.
But since every player has his own way to think and plan, the tactics very a lot.
The most common these days (at least on german pubs) is the one mentioned above.. but there are still some commanders that tend to turtle in the base and focus on upgrades and resources.
I've seen the "everyone stick together, find their hive, kill it, bring the buckets and start cleaning the map"-tactic from time to time, but as Kilmster already said, a lot of people still think the Marines are supposed to pay defensively.
