<div class="IPBDescription">Take a look its a work in Progress</div> Hey guys this is a map ive been working on for about a week Well i had been working on the ReadRoom and Marine start however after finishing the marine spawn i realised i had better get some kind of plan going so i know how the rest of the map will look and work. The theme for the map is some kind of large research vessel that has been overrun by the kharaa the marine team have just arrived in a dropship and setup base on the bridge. Anyway here is the maplayout ive come up with so far, its a little boring right now but this is the basics of how i wanted it to look, and i figured i should come here and see what other people think in regards to design and balancing before i went ahead and built it.
Black=Room's Corridors etc
Red=Vents
Green=Res Nodes
Blue=Marine Spawn
Brown=Weldables (the ones at vents start open the other starts closed)
Yellow=Hives
The whole thing is a little messsy but most of it is intended to be straight not so wonky. If people like it ill draw up a much nicer more detailed version or else ill go back to the drawing board. So anyway guys tell me what you think and what i could change to make it more balanced or more interesting.

The lower left part of the map is the only one that could use some rethinking. Right now it's just a route between two hives with no other entrypoints than the hives themselves. Maybe link it to the res room where the vents from the hives in question go?
Other than that, it looks really nice. This is a refreshing change from the usual "check out my layout" posts, which have no consideration to the map's balance, number of resource nodes, vis-blocking or any other important factor of a ns map. Good job.
Keep up the good work, and give us some screens of the MS!
