<div class="IPBDescription">when you make a killbox.</div> I want to see the motion blur effect in the next released killbox map, because motion blur is perfect for that.
How it works is described on the valce erc collective site.
every projectile weapon (especially fade ones) , particles, decals and webs (every moving or semi transparent object) looks great with motion blur.
keep in mind that MOTION blur looks awful on screenshots because they dont move normally.

Comments
-> every viewable blurred face causes 2 times more polygons.
this effect wotks with openGL only.
Are you sure? It's not drawing anything in the HOM area so I don't see why it would use any more polys at all. I'm only speculating though.
hehe even the gl_wireframe lines get blurred.

thanks for the notice!
Its the water, but with this blur effect... kinda. It looks nice for being water, and unintended etc.
