<div class="IPBDescription">Okay, i'm back! more coments please! :)</div>Well I've been off in my little cave playing with texture ideas. Here is a screen shot of some of the newer textures in-game. All of these are made completely by hand and by me with the exception of the floor texture which has the NS infestation layer over top. The pipe will look loke crap in this pic because you are only seeing one animation - it flows with bubles and goo. I'm still working on it, but the rest should be cool. Tell me your thoughts.

BTW, sorry about the brightness, my parents computer has a bright light balance and I forgot to tone this down to reality. <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo--> I'll come back and fix that later.

    you're not saying you made those textures, right? because I think I've seen those in ns.wad.

    also, you need to work on smoothing it out. right now it looks too worldcraft-y, like just a bunch of brushes attached together. Go for realism.

    No they are new textures, I'm quite sur about it.
    And if I understand it right, this isnt supposed to be a level but rather a way to showcase your customized textures, right?

    either way i like the textures, but the blue tint is kind of eyejogging, i'm not liking it to much. Otherwise, it's great!

    I like those textures...the pipe is transparent?

    I think you need to work on making some of those textures look like they have realistic damage/scars/whatever.  And that blue strip along the texture on the ceiling and the floor is kind of wierd looking.  But beyond that, I think they look pretty nice.  Good work!

    Looks good, Tekoa! I think it wouldn't hurt to put those blue stripe textures up on a wall. It looks good, but it is hard to tell at that angle.

    As for the grey wall texture, looks great. I asked you for a substitute for the WALL_LAB3 texture that is already seeing heavy use in other maps. Looks like that one will fit the bill nicely. Thanks!

    You could scale that wall tex down a bit on the x axix, it looks a tad stretched to me. That blue line looks a bit out of place under that infestation too. Otherwise, looking good. I am expecting a entire sample map entirely texed by you!

    My only attampt at making a tex was a horrific depicition of a bit of carpet.

    If it's just a texture sample, cool beans... if it's not... how'd the aliens get the floor all scuzzy and leave everything else spotless?
