I Need Beta Testers For My Addon Pack!

<div class="IPBDescription">NS Electronic Music AddOn Pack</div> Hey guys! I made an AddOn pack for NS that adds clips of electronic music to NS that play during the game when the regular music would normally play! It's still in it's beta stages, but I need testers. If you want to download and install it, I've made an installer located at <a href='http://www.flatface.net/~chris/InstallNSElecAddon.exe' target='_blank'>http://www.flatface.net/~chris/InstallNSElecAddon.exe</a> if you're interested. If you want to uninstall it, there's an uninstaller located in your NS folder called UninstallElectronicPack.exe that will remove everything you installed.

If it were just in a ZIP file, I wouldn't mind, but these modern times call for paranoia, especially when I've got something that was fairly expensive sitting on my desk.

It's just an install file. I can tell you exactly what it does:
It places 7 clips of music in your ns\music folder, creates a folder called Electronic Music AddOn with a ReadMe file in it, and creates an uninstaller in your NS folder. Nothing more. It doesn't do any damage. Heck, if it were a virus, I would have my rear banned from these forums so fast that it's not funny!

Good call, since i'm probably the only raver in the forums hehe.

    /Downloads
    hehe

    *back*
    D/led and reviewed.
It's alright, I really dont think it fits NS completly. Weird hearing a kind of Happy Hardcore song and Stomp to my Beat by JS-16
I think for NS, you'll probably need some Hardcore/Drums N Bass/Jungle. Actually, jungle sucks so nevermind lol. But I guess it depends on your taste. It's late and I need the volume low because I have school today and I dont want to wake up my stepdad hehe.

I'll review it again later during the day.
    Peace out

How about the music from Homeworld? Not the Yes song from the end, though.

Shouldn't the topic title be "... testers for my collection of tunes which may sound good in the background of NS if you like that sort of thing"? I suppose you'd not have room to write all that, but I wouldn't go overboard and call it an "Addon pack"

Not that I'm complaining really - the music's not my style but it inspired me to copy some that I like and that go well with NS into my music directory. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

It'll end up an addon pack. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> I may add as much as 50 songs! Maybe I can even get someone to code something that installs with it to let you play a certain song next music cycle? Who knows?

And thanks for the review guys, if you want to hear most of the full-length songs, go to MP3.com! My personal favorite is the one by Amok Vibes. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

Perhaps you can do several editions? I think some Boltthrower (Hardcore thrashmetal by Warhammer geeks) would be pretty good background music for NS. Don't get me wrong, I love techno but its just not very war-ish.

Some people haven't seen the selection of Rave genre music that I have.

And btw, this isn't Techno. More Trance-Ambient like...except for JS-16, that isn't in any of the Rave Genre at all.

It was originally a Techno addon, but then I realized I was adding in non-techno stuff and renamed it to the Electronic Addon. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
