<div class="IPBDescription">Last ditch effort to get a release...</div> Need help with skinmeshing/animating of these models i did recently. they started as hackjobs of below gg/lmg replacement, but are now basically all-new models. i have had people PMing me about them, so i really want to get em out.

I dunno man.. the way the gun is shaped doesn't really fit functionality... Trying to imagine that a grenade round will make it from the magazine to the tip of the barrel is far-fetched because the whole shape of the gun is all twisty. The stock has to be rather sizeable because it houses the firing group and mechanisms. I might suggest you read up a little on the bullpup rifle design so you can better understand what I mean by functionality. There should be a straight shot from the magazine to the tip of the barrel. You could simply fix the problem by making the top of the weapon level.

i must admit, that does bother me just a little, however i imagined the rounds actually being moved through to the reciever, not being fired from above the clip. i am aware of the workings of bullpups (been taught to strip&clean the infamous F88 austeyr and have a vested interest in the workings of these weapons), but i don't really think of the grenny as a bullpup; as the reciever, firing mechanism and gas venting (the diagonal slits in the reciever) are mounted forward of the trigger block. lets just call it futuristic and leave it at that. i'm more interested in getting the HMG out, as the grenny does need a little work <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

I love the models! I, too, would use the gl for a LMG. But please don't skin them black, then it would be hard to see the wonderful models in game. I say maybe keep the same Colour scheme?
