I was skrewing around in photoshop and decided to come up with what i think
the alien nanites (is that what theyre called?)

well anyway this is what i think they look like

its supposed to have sort of a dark bacteria type effect :/

Nanites is a term for nanomachines. ie, they're not organic, but tiny artificial machines. The aliens are supposed to be based on a bacterium organism.
