So, a siege don't shoot any alien structures that are in an observatory's range (even if the observatory isn't close to the siege) without : - a commander scan on the alien structures. - or the siege see itself the target.

It doesn't happens if an observatory is within range of a siege, but if the alien structures is within range of an observatory, even it (observatory) isn't build.
