<div class="IPBDescription">Im giving it a go</div>Well i have spent the last few hours pondering a new map called ns_flank (hope name isnt tooken) It basicly takes place on a moon, I tried to make it so the pipes look like they are auctually needed(ie bathrooms can acces the pipes broken sewage vents so on) this map looks like its unfair for the marines because of all the ways the bobs can flank them, but im going to include places made just for cannons and such to even it up and good cover to where they would get flanked. If all goes right when I make the map this will probably be a really good for advanced teams, it might take me a few months to learn how to map but im not releaseing it till I think its professional quality. This is the part where I ask for suggerstions because I need them badly due to this being my first map.

    My main problem is it looks like the marines have VERY few pathways to go anywhere, while the aliens have double the choices. The aliens do get these passageways, but maybe not to that extent? Add some more marine routes <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

    hmm forgot to say that the marines can access some of those vents early on...even though they would be vulnrable in them and have only one or two entrance points at the beginning, may I direct your attention to the top that laddy brings them down to a pumping room where they can access the sewage pipes, That would be a very good spot for the scouts to start. also I was plnning some traps in the vents (break through and such). With the break through the more advanced players would be able to set up traps (imagine 3 bobs waiting for the signal from a flyer or 2 marines waiting for a signal from the thrid to maybe trap a level 5 by using the signaling marine as a decoy) I think I forgot to put in the break spots though <!--emo&:(--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('><!--endemo--> ill make another more updated map

    It does indeed look extremely linear. By all means build the map though. There's nothing better than experience <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

    he spelt latter right, but he meant ladder, that's why it's wrong, and yeah just build the damn map. Why did you chaneg your name the alian again?
