    Or even ns_europa? <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

Although a map about an e-mail client would be interesting.

I have not seen a decent map yet out of all of the ones availible for download at the Mayberry games website...
Many of them have potential, but most are still in the beta stages, and have various flaws. I look forward to when there are good custom maps.

As a sidenote, ns_europa sucks... Very little detail, and a very marine advantageous map.

ns_next, first custom map, tiny and just "ballanced" for 6-8 players.
ns_Europa, great looking, nice medium map. not for more than 20. - favorite for going official.
ns_atomicmass, nice but little repeating look, fine bigger map still in developement.
ns_misslecommand, Funmap/Killbox, great for the short Jetpack fun in between.
ns_siege, Funmap_killbox, great for the short Onos vs 30 turrets fun in between.

other maps are just too rarely on publics or not worth a look.

Europa is definetely the best 'finished' custom map so far.
Aside from that, I can only suggest you keep an eye open for Strife (by Tommyd, who already did Tanith), Origin (by Cadaver, need I say more?), and of course Veil. Also, might I add that NS_Eniant is about to be finished?

I have heard of these maps but they are nowhere to be seen, so i assume they are in private playtesting?

I have beta versions of each of them, most were playtested on Nano Gridlock, so yes, private PTs.

On mayberry we have been playing ns_europa and napo (they're on the rotation right now) but also next and ns_cilrais_1229. Cilrais is a really nice looking but super-complicated map. It has some of the best detail i've seen on any custom maps, but it's hard to learn because there's so many vents and hallways on top of each other.

I like 11th hour. It's by the same guy who did ns_Next.

here's another good question... Any links to places to get maps?

    I get some from <a href='http://nsworld.ns-central.co.uk/main.php' target='_blank'>http://nsworld.ns-central.co.uk/main.php</a>

Where do you guys get yours from?

You're kidding right? Very little detail? There must be another ns_europa out there that I haven't seen .....

The one I've played is very detailed, makes excellent use of the third dimension, has great lighting, very interesting areas, and the marines won, yes, but it was a long hard fight ... VERY fun. (The alien team was not playing well together at all.)

Who knows, maybe I played an extreme beta version. Just big rectangular corridors, with big rectange hive rooms, and just a bad layout. Tossing me a link to a newer version would be really appreciated.
