Menu Bug?

<div class="IPBDescription">Problems with the Marine Comm menus</div> Hi,

As no one else seems to have posted this as a bug, I'm going to gamble that it's me being a n00b muppet. When trying to be a Marine commander, I somethimes seem to have major troubles with the menus. Two different styles of problem. The first problem is: I click on one of the three main menu icons and the sub menus appear and immediately disappear. In the second instance, sub menus appear but the icons are wrong and unusable (they're all armour/ammo icons - no turrets or anything).

Just to clarify, at other times the menus work just as expected. Any ideas?

Just select a building(any) and it should be fixed.

Strange I never had a problem with the commander menu like that. :/

For your first prob.... try clicking on one of your players than the menu again, that works for me. Your 2nd prob you need a TF before you can get the T's. I've had it happen a lot after I get out of the comm chair and back in. There's some bug where if something is selected sometimes whenever you get back in, it's perma selected. Just select marines or a building again and then you can return to your normal build menus.

Thanks guys, you're stars. The combination of the above advice (chiefly clicking on stuff) does indeed fix the problem. N1.

Happens to me all the time - It fixes itself when and ONLY when I click on my command chair.

I cant begin to tell you why that matters, but it does work. hasnt failed me yet.

Yep. Its a mouse bug. CLicking something else fixes it. But beware, if you gotan equip or structure clicked you cant unclick it. If you try to click a Marine you ll get that equip/struct build on him (Just to warn ya)
