Ns Mapping Setup Problem

I'm not sure if this breaks the forum rules or not, since it may or may not be a Worldcraft setup problem, or may be a Natural Selection specific issue depending on which direction one likes to look at things from... basically, I'm having a problem getting a working game configuration in Worldcraft for Natural Selection. So far, Worldcraft seems to work fine with other mods, so I'm inclined to think it's something NS specific.
Here's the deal. I create a new game config, name it and start setting it up. When I try to add the ns.fgd file from the NS directory to 'Game Data Files', obviously a necessary step in the game configuration, a window pops up with a string of error messages, as follows.
error parsing C:\sierra\Half-Life\ns\ns.fgd, line 305: 'studio' is not a valid variable type
error parsing C:\sierra\Half-Life\ns\ns.fgd, line 463: 'sound' is not a valid variable type
error parsing C:\sierra\Half-Life\ns\ns.fgd, line 582: expected 'base' or 'size' or 'color', but found 'iconsprite'
error parsing C:\sierra\Half-Life\ns\ns.fgd, line 703: 'studio' is not a valid variable type
error parsing C:\sierra\Half-Life\ns\ns.fgd, line 737: expected 'base' or 'size' or 'color', but found 'sprite'
- too many errors; aborting.
Anyone know why it's doing this? Or, more importantly, how to fix it? I'll admit I'm new to this, having just been recently inspired to try my hand at making some NS maps, but this is kind of discouraging.
Added Note: If it's relevant, I'm using a copy of WorldCraft straight from the most recent 'Half Life Platinum Collection' release, whose about dialog identifies itself as being 'WorldCraft 2.1'.
