Bad Installation File?

I/O error while installing
at about 1/5th of the installation (installation is at ns.wad) it aborts with an "I/O error" it says that this is due to a bad installation file. I've re-downloaded the file a couple of times (deleted old one, downloaded from different location, downloaded with and without a download accelerator), but all that does'nt seem to work. Every time I get the I/O error.

btw I'm talking about the 91mb v1.0 file.

Anyone have any ideas?

P.S. I have no other I/O problems and never had faulty downloads, so its not a disk/file system or connection error or something...

Check my NS downloads page ( http://210.0.163.146/ns/ ), it includes SFV and MD5 checksums for all the files. If your installer verifies properly, go to \Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Engine and delete all the files there, and restart, then retry the installer.

Thanks for the checksum tool. The previously downloaded install files had a checksum error. I downloaded once more from a server I did'nt use before and the file is now ok. (and installed ok)

I have no idea what the problem was, either something went wrong with downloading a few times, or some ftp servers have a bad file, and I just was unlucky enough to download from them.

    Anyway, it works now
