<div class="IPBDescription">In 1.04</div> I searched for this bit could not find exactly what iwas looking for, and to lazy to read 200 posts to find it.
Ive been playing 1.03 alot as theres only 1 Australian pub server online.
this was my first time commanding in 1.04.

Heres my question:

When u upgrade a TF i noticed that it had to built sometimes, does it have to be built always? and also do your turrets stop working while it is been upgraded ??
the reason is I lost a hive because turrets werent firing and they took out the phase. I think they werent firing because i just upgraded.
Is that why??

1 good thing is JP to 9.

    The need to rebuild a TFac is a bug (I think?). Either way, it doesn't always require you to rebuild it, so I guess it's a bug in either case. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    In my experience, turrets don't go down when the TFac is upgrading/rebuilding.

    yea i noticed some did need to be rebuilt and some didnt, was really weird.
    hmm even weirder was i lost a hive because my turrets werent shooting [ and im sure tf was there.]
    I think it was a 1 off thing because ive never seen that before. Ive commed about 100 games say.

    the advanced turret needing to be rebuilt is definitely a bug and seems to be squashed in the very latest build of 104

    ok to answer your question, yes, the current 1.04 version being play on OzForces server (aussie server) the marines have to build the TF after upgrade or the turrets won't work. And you have to have a marine shooting alien structures or scan them for the siege cannon to fire @ the structures.

    And there are tones of aussie servers (see below). If ya can't find them i suggest using gamespy 3D, its much better then the HL defult crud and gamespy arcade just shits me.
