New Exploit To Watch For

<div class="IPBDescription">lurk Spores at round start.</div> I'm unsure of how this is done, but during the opening rush in ns_nothing, I had someone either marine or alien dropping lurk spores in marine base. It was centered around the comm chair, so it quite possibly could have been the person in comm chair who did it. Lacking any kind of proof though...

Someone mentioned it was a readyroom hack similar to the commandermode exploit. But they where not sure, and of course the one responsible would not elaborate. So keep your eyes open and see if someone can catch how it’s done. I'm running the bugfix.so plugin for linux to stop the commandermode exploit, so it is either something different or a variation on it that the plugin doesn't catch.

    Thankfully, this is just a bug I've seen mentioned previously.
    Sometimes when the endgame is full of spores, the next round serves the marines with a spore going off in base a minute or two into the round.

    I've been guilty of this one myself, and I can tell you I was just as surprised as the person who died. It's not an exploit that I know of, but rather what sevendashseven said - too many spores at endgame and some of them hang around / go off in the first few seconds of next round.
