i would offer help, but my 7 weeks of Java knowlage isn't going to help you at all...


i would most deffenatly love to host this program for download, because i'de use it... close to every day!


one request though... you mentioned that it would have full HLMV functions (support?) BUT, one thing that makes me (and a few others around the forums) is the HLMV has no "preferences" so each time we open a model, we have to manually chage the background color.... over and over and over again... having a "remeber my settings" would be more than appreciated, but not manditory.

IMO the most useful feature of something like this would be the ability to look at v_models from an approximation of the in-game perspective.

That would be SOOOOOO useful. Thats a feature I would love.

It doesn't appear that he's working on it anymore... if someone is really interested in continuing the job, I'd suggest emailing him and asking if you can have the source. Otherwise, probably best to let this sink back into the abyss.
