i have to depend on the lovely modelling community to provide them...at least conversions......of...shudder...AVP2...no! i must not to into that!
anyway...i havent heard on the master chief model in a while and i was wondering if its dead or not :C
i know there was a conversion from FA, but it was a bit crappy...and i heard someone was working on it...making it better...and that someone was working on the HALO2 master chief model...i would just like to know if anyone is actually still working on it...or if i will have to wait until the avp/sc model phase is over....

To my knowledge, this replacement community has never been in any SC phase at all. Not a single SC model has ever been released, so that concludes that.

He's right...I find a tad annoying when people make threads requesting things that they should know will most likely never be made at least not any time in the near future. You didn't do that, but, if you really want it, the only sure way of getting is making it yourself, not depending on other people (unless you are sure or you have a good feeling they will do it fir you).

I read your message, I was commenting on the attitude you have shown in this forum in general. This example just annoyed me more than ever because the FA model is quite good (comes in several different colors, jetpack support, animates well) but you expect there to be another one made just because you don't like it.

it wasnt as if i was ordering one, i was merley asking a simple question. if your brain has difficulty managing a simple "i dont know" then dont bother replying to my post, ranting on how you dont like my attitude. i only get like this when people ask for it.

You ****. The other day, (a long time ago now) I wanted a command chair replacement that will rumble a bit, like when a armory is upgrading. I knew ABSOLUTELY crap nothing about skinning and modelling for halflife, as Ive always been more of a mapper.
I went onto these forums, dug around for about 2 hours. Found some links to a couple 20kb help sites. I read them.
Then I downloaded a .mdl viewer, milkshape 3d, installed photoshop 7 and got a .mdl editor thingy.
I ended up with a Pepsi machine that shakes a little bit, (idle anim) fully personally skinned and made myself. How long did it all take?
2 days, from start of learning to completion of .mdl.
So don't you whine about not having any model skills. It would only take you about 5 hours to learn how to make your own pepsi machine, with no modelling background at all.

oh and seeing as im doing my GCSES pretty soon i dont think ill be able to have the time or effort to put into a master model such as ..gasp!!!
a moving coke machine....
