Going on what Greedo said, we have already held a vote among the IRC ops about mvoing. In short, not now, too much work, all other NS related channels are on gamesnet, most HL fans on gamesnet, etc etc.

If we ever did move (I sure hope we don't have to), Spyder has a little something in his back pocket if we ever need it... <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

Wewt. Of course, moving would be very bad. Just about all the big NS-related channels reside on gamesnet.

Well AOL was also banned from the Aniverse IRC for the same reason.

I'd like to start a movement to ban AOL from the Internet. Easy, clean, efficient.

And it gets the stains out.

I used to be Gamesnet Staff and I can tell you they wouldn't do anything that would remove a large amount of users without good reason.

The fact that Quakenet has g-lined AOL is pretty important, Quakenet is THE biggest IRC network.

    According to <a href='http://www.gamesnet.net/aol_glined.php' target='_blank'>http://www.gamesnet.net/aol_glined.php</a>
the ban has been lifted. And why is the "http://" button not working <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
