right now, I need something to do.
Anyone got any free online games to reckomend?

    what comp and Os do you have?  I have a pII 350 and I have no trouble running HL, if you're on XP you might want to upgrade your vidcard's drivers and your RAM or read monsE's tweakguide <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo-->

    Im running on a pentium III 450 mhz with 128 ram and win 2k,

    It used to run all fine but my comp is going sloooower and sloooower, and the worst thing is that theres nothing I can do with it, before I used to get 30 fps or more all the time, but not nemore <!--emo&:(--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('><!--endemo-->

    I tried formatting the whole thing and installing it again but the insane lag is always there <!--emo&:(--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('><!--endemo-->

    I think morrowind will lag bad too :'(

    They are thinking about making 800Mhz the <b>minimum</b> for Morrowind, so, yeah, it could just lag slightly ;/

    actually the processor isn't the main problem, it's the RAM and the vid card, a pII 700 is only 15% faster than a pII 350, not 50% like most people think, so aslong as you have a good vidcard and lots of RAM you're fine <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

    If im gonna get a good vid card id need more mhz and "theres not room" for more mhz on my comp.

    if you want a free online (like MMORPG) try Dark Ages. you have to register to get the full experience, but for free you can play for months and not get tired. and it is in no way going to lag you comp. im positive on that. lemme go find the link....

    You don't by any chance have an ATI card, do you?  If so, check <a href="http://www.frontlineforce.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=7761" target="_blank">here</a>  for a fix.

    Even if you <b>don't</b> have an ATI video card, there are a lot of tips there for things that could help you, as most of the tips are not FLF-specific and might help you a lot.
