Forum Avatar Problems

in New Player Forum
The forum wont let me upload any avatars from my computer. It just gives these file types are not allowed error even though it specificly says you can have .gifs and .jpg as avatars. They are all small under 10k and within the dimension limits but same error all time?

    The forum doesn't host space for you; it simply references a link. You need to find your own hosting space online where you can store the image. There are a few image-hosting sites around on the net that allow remote linking (geocities and angelfire do not).
