Not the forum software. And before you ask, it uses FEWER queries then vb or phpBBS
EDIT: However, they COULD change some settings to use one or two fewer per page view. (In the Board Settings, CPU Saving section of admin CP)

I finished reading a thread with the ol' white scheme, went to the bathroom, and came back to the new blue one.
