    yes it would. he is a good imperialist and knows when to make war... right before the economy collapses! I just saw in the paper 250,000 people in the US lost their jobs this year, so i guess we are back on the road to prosperity! *wink*

    oh, and zazi, you don't own me.

    <!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->Yes he does. He used basic varations of different strains in the Gulf War.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

    All that says is that he had them. Up till now, the weapons inspectors did not find Anthrax, right?

    <!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->Sadaam also has the ability to produce a nuclear device. With his ties to terrorist netoworks, he could probably obtain weapon's grade plutonium without too much trouble.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

    You'll be suprised to hear that the Iraq has really no very good ties with any major terrorist network. You may have noticed that people concentrate on the Sudan, Lybia, and Pacistan to find Al-Quaida refugees. That's mainly due to the fact that Hussein apparently scored more than one coup by 'accidentaly' unveiling terrorist hideouts in his borders when those terrorists appeared to be threats his position of power.

    <!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->Bush is not a bad president. He thinks of ways from a militaristic point of view, which is shaping this world up nicely. If Al Gore were elected, the day after September 11th, he'd just be sitting on his thumbs wollowing in his self pitty. He would have done nothing about it, and wouldn't do anything about it. Bush has actually gotten work done.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

    How does the fact that Gore would be just as big a screw-up make Bush a good president?

    <!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->Also, if it were not for Bush, the American economy would be in much worse shape. Because of his military actions, he has created a demand for troops, which means that the military will pay more for those who enlist, and to keep those who are in the military to stay in. Aka: they pay the military more. This is then used in turn when they visit their homes or go back to base in the states. They buy stuff because they have all this extra money. Take a trip to a military base. All military personell don't have to pay for one thing if they live on base. Housing, food, clothing, etc. is all paid for, so they basically collect cash for nothing. What do they do? They spend it. You'll notice that a LOT of enlisted and officers have really nice cars, good computers, etc. because they have nothing else to spend their money on. This money is funneled into the economy which gives it a nice boost.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

    Alan Greenspan didn't warn the government of the economic consequences of a war without of reason. Investing in the military means that the state has less funds to funnel into the economy himself - for example by improving the infrastructure, tax changes, subventions, and whatever else helps the economy directely.
    Instead, the biggest part of the money is literally 'blown up' in missels and guns. These investions don't benefit any part of the economy except the weapons industry.

    <!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->Lets not forget the B-52 that was sent to bomb Sadaam's hideaway. If we ended up killing him on that mission, we wouldn't be here trying to solve a problem we should've solved years ago. We're merely mopping up, and doing it as fast as possible.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

    Every militaristic specialist I read from said that this 'mop up' would cost around half of a million peoples lives. A rather messy kind of cleanup, don't you tink?

    Better President at least. Bush has been severely blasted by the media, and it has actually influenced a great deal of people into believing he's stupid and inept. Which is not true.

    Dear Off-Topic community, we have gathered here today to mourn the loss of the "Why Bush Isn't A Cowboy" discussion which was brought from life to death by a ruthless left-winger posting the picture of two men, one of them possibly the poster himself (...), humping each other.

    Rest in Peace.
