    Cool, but more than two overlays would be better... <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    You dont need more than two really. One for semi-infestation, one for lots of infestation. Everything you need can be done with these two.

    Unless you just wanted a blotch of infestation on one 256x256 texture. In other words, not tiled. These infestations look poor when the outer edges aren't up against something that would "naturally" end the infestation. I had to make my own single-tile infestation layer for this. I used it on the dark metallic texture (can't remember the name right now) for the vertical tanks in this shot:

    <img src='http://www.tribes2maps.com/graphics/misc/cygnus_hive2.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image'>

    The hive is between the first two tanks, and I didn't want to infest the entire tanks, just the inner sides closest to the hive.

    If anyone wants the PSD file, let me know.

    Yes! Woohoo! I have infestation...oh, wait a minute..that sounds bad <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
    Man, now I can finally start making some custom texts.
    Btw, are there anymore infestation textures we could use? Good or bad, I'll take me.
    Keep it coming!

    Infestation for Paint Shop Pro users :

    1. Open your texture and the <a href='http://www.btinternet.com/~chromea999/NS/Infestation_overlay1.zip' target='_blank'>overlay</a>
    2. Make your texture 256 x 256 x 24bit
    3. Copy the overlay texture
    4. Paste as layer onto your texture
    5. Smile you have now infested a texture <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I can easily make more overlays if they are needed.
