1.04 Has A Surprise!

I was commanding on eclipse on a v1.04c server (redphive server) and guess what?

Surprise surprise! The turret factory bug reared its ugly head next to the computer core hive!
Bug still isn't fixed. It was on the west side of computer core. Made another turret factory a little farther out and it also wouldn't upgrade.

For those of you who don't know the turret factory bug is the most notorious bug in 1.03. In some specific locations on some maps, if you build a turret factory it will not have the "upgrade to advanaced turret factory" icon on it (in fact you can't even select it). Gonna post on the bug forum too, just thought I'd let you guys know.

    This bug was never fixed, and isn't easy to fix at all (due to details in the inner depths of the HL engine). It will require a client update. I hope to have it fixed for v1.1.

    Glad to know you're on top of things. I think I speak for most of us here when I say thanks for all the support on this game, and good luck squashing the bugs.

    as i am a new comm i got this bug and one other one thats kinda related..

    arms lab wont upgrade so i had someone else do it and thankfully it worked.. However after he upgraded i noticed it was gone.. No way aliens could of got it. This guy that upgraded for me is a very good ns player so i seriously doubt he accidently recycled..

    another one is i upgraded heavy armor at proto lab and everything was goin well. after a minute or so i clicked on it again and i had the options to upgrade heavy armor still signifying that the original upgrade didnt happen.. I assumed i must of been temporarily insane and not actully clicked to upgrade so i upgraded again.. 3 seconds later i hear "research complete" and i have heavy armor available and an extra 50 res down the toilet <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

    never tryed this but , there is a hotkey that will upgrade the TF , try that? and yes if u get some1 to go in the cc and upgrade it , it seems to work :?

    nah i dont get confused when tryin to left click lol. Plus it was done 3 seconds after i upgraded again (and lost the 50 res) so that must mean it finished from the first time i upgraded

    all this is in the 1.04c patch
