What's Worse That An Exploiter?

A clan of them! (Clan STD)
Bleh, first time I got kicked by admins... I was on the STD clan server, and a bunch of STD's joined aliens. Hey, nothing wrong with playing with friends... Anyways, 20 seconds into the game, they start to tell all the aliens to "accidentally" hit F4 and then rejoin the team.

Anyone who complained about the cheating was kicked off the server. Blah. Nothing new I guess, but I hadn't run into it until now :\

Thank god it will be fixed next patch!

Heh, I am not at all happy with this change. Now we can have exploiters that join, go gorge and promplty f4 to send 13+n resources to /dev/null. Naturally, in this case it is the aliens that get screwed.

Oh please- that's hardly worse at all than what they're doing now.
MANY more people are interested in cheating to win.
Fewer are interested in being llamas and screwing over the team. I've encountered far more exploiters than llamas.

The only upside about exploiting the destruction of resources from an F4'd alien is that they can only lose their personal pool and not drain the pools of teammates. As opposed to having it the other way around where one guy could fill the entire alien team's pool. It's still obnoxious behavior, but this way it's no more of a detriment to the game as a whole than any bad player would be causing by sitting around and not doing anything worthwhile while taking a share of the resources.
