<div class="IPBDescription">**Warning** Large Pictures!</div> I have been building like this with 2-4 OCs and 2-3 DC and any other chamber you want to add. It has performed much better than straight walls for me because when a soldier looks at them it seems all of them instead of 1 form around the corner and all of them shoot at the marine. Here's an example of it on ns_tanith, try building like next time you play
Turn up your monitor brightness or something if you cant see the pics

I guess people just call it like that.. huge line of OC/DC chambers stacked
together = wall of lame. There is a reason for that name too,
i guess many of us have been stuck in these sometimes, perfect name i guess <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->.
and it shoots faster than a marine turrent lol just hide it beside a entrance with some webs BAM dead marines everywhere
all tho its a res hog you can do it with just a couple of em too. Well i dunno if its kinda a cheat as it doesnt work on bet 4 servers so i guess it is really a bug somethin... but its really fun to do once in a while.
<!--c1--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>CODE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='CODE'><!--ec1-->
} = webbing
}

____}

<!--c2--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--ec2-->
Not like this <!--c1--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>CODE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='CODE'><!--ec1-->
}
}
}
}
}
______}
|<!--c2--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--ec2-->
So that the marines get webbed as SOON as they are within the LOS of the chambers.
<!--c1--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>CODE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='CODE'><!--ec1-->

_____________|
<!--c2--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--ec2-->
Or possibly like this
<!--c1--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>CODE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='CODE'><!--ec1-->
| o |
| o |

<!--c2--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--ec2-->
Where the o's are OCs and the $s are webs. This setup makes it so that any blundering marine gets webbed at the exact moment he comes into the LOS of all the OCs (which of course = death for the marine). The first example is for when the colour of the ground doesn't conceal the webbing enough, in this case it's better just to have a little tiny bit on the corner instead of a big thread stretching across the entire floor.

<a href='http://q36.gameover.com/overhead.jpg' target='_blank'><img src='http://q36.gameover.com/overhead1.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image'></a>
thanks for the other suggestions

One thing I would like to add is that web should be used just about everywhere. Of course there are some areas that could use strategic placement of webs instead of just spam styles (ie. near Hives or Resource Nodes important places where you don't want to have limits so you can lay good OC/DC/Web Traps). Everywhere else, down hallways, vital junctions, in door ways, web it all up. Remember to leave a few high if you think a JPer can get through.
Web, as we gorges have all discovered, is a very powerful tool/weapon.

I must say that that looks really cool.
