IMHO I think upgrades would work better if the level of the upgrade depends on the number of hives you have, rather than the number of chambers you have...
For example, at the present whenever you have 1 hive and build 3 defense chambers you can grant yourself with lvl 3 regen...
I belive it would be better if the only way to get lvl 3 regen would be to have 3 hives...
If you had 3 hives with 1 defense chamber, you could give youself level 3 regen, however, if you lost a hive then you would drop to having level 2 regen...
Of course, you could build as many chambers as you like, but if you lose a hive you would also drop a level on your upgrades... even if you had 80+ chambers <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
