Ns Crashes

<div class="IPBDescription">as do any HL mods</div> A few days ago, I d/led a critical update from microsoft update. I cant remember which one. Anyways, after d/ling it, ns started crashing. Either the game would lock up and close, or the entire computer would crash and restart. It happens with counter-strike also. I did a system restore of before I installed the update, and it worked fine again. Its still crashing now (because of automatic updating) and it wont let me restore the comp! Now I cant play ns, cs, or even battlefield 1942! Thanks microsuck.

Hmmmm......I may have a way to fix it try installing the Windows Xp Service Pack 1 and tell me if it crashes

why not disable automatic update? its annyoing and sometimes ms installs crap on ur pc, like in ur case.....
