I agree with KFS, they are used everywhere in hera and such yet they are eclipse textures. Something that i find odd also the comments about how you shouldn't use them <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

I think the use of Eclipse textures on new maps is good. It lends continuity to the NS universe. Just don't use them everywhere in your level, and you'll be fine. I plan to use them (or at least a recolored version of them) in my upcoming map.

    Wall_lab textures!!

    Not Eclipse textures!!

Hrm I don't know why you lot call them that anyway. It's not like Eclipse was the first map to use them. Hera got there first.

Eclipse was the first to rely so heavily on them, though. Hera used a number of wall_green and other textures as well before the expansion of the wall_lab set.

Yes yes, that's for sure. I suppose that's why, because Eclipse used so much of them.

I call them Eclipse textures because that's how they've come to be known. The same reason everyone calls their facial tissues kleenex. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

Personally I dont use kleenex as my facial tissues Bytor. Try and get into the habit of calling them wall_lab textures and not eclipse. as people might say "the pink walls or the silo textures?" etc.

Heh ... and I suppose you make a habit of not calling your facial tissues Kleenex too. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> (I'm sure <b>you</b> do.)

I honestly don't care what people call them. I call them Eclipse textures because that's the level where they are used the most, or at least where they stand out the most. No harm done.

i like those wall textures as there nice and loks of different one. Thats makes them easy to use as theres always a diff one to choose and use. If the green or "nothing" or metallic one had so many variations, they'lll just be as good as orangish ones. (well, they are good, but more variations needed i mena, hehehe)
