Voicecomm Not Working While Commander

I was playing Natural Selection today and was using the voicecomm as a marine. Our commander left so I took over. I noticed the voice comm wasn't working after I became the commander. I could hear other people talking but when I pressed my voicecomm button no one could hear me. I rebinded the key through the console just in case and it still didn't work. I don't have any special binds for commander so...anyone know about his?

You can't use mouse buttons for any binds in commander mode.
